Dax completely botched his sermon yesterday. He got all tangled up ... and had a hard time recovering. He was in really bad spirits yesterday and took a long time to recover. while it was very hard to see him struggle afterwards, I think it was a very good thing to have him have to go through. He was in the church with everyone who was very compassionate and it really didn't matter... as it wasn't his internship where it is going to effect his career. The pastor of the church was really really cool afterwards and gave him great advice as to how to handle it. I think that Dax was going about the sermon prep and motivation in the wrong ways... and this was a good experience for him. Still, it was hard to see him so upset. The weekend was pretty good otherwise. I spent everyday at the little creek that Wrigley likes to swim in. He is swimming - literally - with the big dogs now. He is not fast enough to chase balls that the bigger dogs can get... but he is not afraid to get out in the water like they do. He and I spent all afternoon down in the water.
